    Arrive Nairobi
    Relaxation and overnight. Eka Hotel.

    On your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel for relaxation and overnight. Eka Hotel.

    Maasai Mara Game Reserve
    Mara leisure Camp, Full Board

    Pick up upon arrival and drive to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, so named to mean the “spotted plains” in Maa language. This is home to the greatest concentration of large mammals and is widely recognized as Africa’s ultimate wildlife reserve. The park is the northern extension to the vast Serengeti-Mara ecosystem, famous for its annual migration of wildebeest. Transfer to the lodge with a game driver en route and after check-in enjoy hot lunch. Late in the evening enjoy a game viewing drive in this spectacular place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world.     Full Day Maasai Mara Game Reserve
    Mara Leisure Camp

    During your stay, you have the opportunity to explore this great reserve in depth. You may see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion, and thousands of impala, Topi, grants and Thomson’s gazelle. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey. The Mara is the scene of annual migration of millions of wildebeest up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grasses. Mara Leisure Camp, Full Board

    Lake Naivasha National Park
    Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge

    After breakfast and check-out, drive to Lake Naivasha which is the first of the Rift Valley Lakes and is set at the foot of Mount Longonot, on the north side. It was on Lake Naivasha that East Africa’s first air-passengers used to land in the flying boats of imperial Airways. After lunch at the camp take an afternoon boat ride for a chance to identify the many different birds in the area. Naivasha Sopa Lodge, Full Board

  • Day 5

    Amboseli National Park
    Kibo Safari Camp Full Board

    After breakfast and check-out, drive via Nairobi with picnic lunches to Amboseli National Park. The Park is famous for its big game and scenic beauty with the landscape dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro. It offers an interesting contrast with its dry and dusty appearance, which can be attributed to the volcanic ash that came out of Mt Kilimanjaro when it last erupted. In spite of the appearance, there is a continuous supply of water that gets filtered through volcanic rocks from Kilimanjaro’s melted snow. These streams flow underground, creating lush green areas, and converge at two clear water springs in the park. Kibo safari Camp Full Board

    Amboseli National Park
    Kibo safari Camp, Full Board

    Spend a further day in the park on morning and afternoon game viewing drives. Wildlife here includes the zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, buffalo among others. There are also over 400 species of birds, including the bee-eater, kingfisher, Africa fish eagle, martial eagle and pygmy falcon. Visitors mainly come to watch the huge herds of elephants.   • Day 7

    Tsavo East National Park
    Voi wildlife Lodge, Full Board

    Depart for the drive via Chyulu Hills to the second largest park –Tsavo West, famed for the notorious “Man Easters of Tsavo”. The man eating lions preyed on the railway linesmen building the great Uganda Railway. Later you will go for an evening game drive. The park offers remarkable views with a variety of habitats ranging from mountains, river forest, lakes and wooded grassland. It is also an excellent park for visitors who enjoy walking, offering a number of nature trails and the opportunity to explore the Chaimu volcanic Lava. If time allows enjoy time within the Rhino sanctuary for the opportunity to see the endangered Rhinoceros. Voi wildlife Lodge, Full Board

    Tsavo East National Park
    Voi Wildlife Lodge

    After a sumptuous breakfast, depart for the nearby Tsavo East National Park. Arrival for lunch followed by an early evening game drive to return back to lodge/camp after sunset. Tsavos’s abundant wildlife will always excite you and the sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This along with the 300 kilometer long Yatta the largest protected area in Kenya. Voi wildlife Lodge, Full Board

  • Day 9

    Nairobi, Departure

    Wake up to an early breakfast before departing for the drive to Nairobi with drop off at the airport for outbound flight.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Basic guidelines to aid you as you plan to make your booking to travel to Africa on your Safari Expedition. This is not an exhaustive list, our Tour consultants are always standby to give you all the necessary guidance accordingly.

Booking Procedure

All applications for provisional or confirmed reservations are to be made by the Client by way of letter, facsimile or e-mail addressed to Zagas Explorer.
No reservation will be deemed made unless acknowledged and accepted in writing by Zagas Explorer. Provisional reservations will only be held for 14 days, after which the booking will be released. Please ensure the following information is included:

      » Date and time of arrival
      » Number of people and room requirement
      » Full names of client, and ages of children in the group (if applicable)
      » Any special requirements

Cancellation Policy

Reservations cancelled are charged as below:

      » Between 60 and 31 days prior to arrival a 25% cancellation fee will be charged.
      » Between 30 and 15 days prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
      » Between 14 and 0 days prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
      » Cancellation fees are calculated on the rate per person and on the total value of the Reservation made.

Rates

All amounts are denominated in US Dollars and payments must be made in the nominated currency. In the case of any future increases in fuel, currency fluctuations, component costs or government taxes, Zagas Explorer reserves the right to renegotiate the rates. Conservancy fees are mandatory and will be included in the invoice.

Deposit Requirements

A refundable deposit of 30% is to be received by Zagas Explorer within 7 working days from date of confirmation. The final balance of 70% of the total value of the reservation(s) will be payable at least 30 days prior to the guests arrival.

Refunds

Should any client arrive late or request an early departure, no refund will be granted. Whilst Zagas Explorer will ensure that all anticipated accommodation will be available as planned, there shall be no claim of any nature against Zagas Explorer for a refund, either in part or whole, if any accommodation and or excursion is unavailable and a reasonable alternative was found – or if guests were unable to make use of the service for any reason.

Insurance

All guests should take out comprehensive insurance cover when paying their confirmation deposit, to cover them for cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, personal baggage, emergency evacuation back home and money.

Disclaimer

This agreement is made subject to and shall be governed and construed according to the laws of Tanzania. Neither Zagas Explorer, nor any person acting for, through or on behalf of the company shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever and without restricting the generality of the foregoing shall particularly not be responsible for loss or damage arising from any errors or omission contained in the brochure or other literature, late or non-confirmation or acceptance of bookings, loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, injury or death whether occasioned by negligence or not. In addition, the company shall have the right at any time at its discretion to cancel any tour or the remainder thereof or make any alteration in route, accommodation, price or other detail and in the event of any tour being rendered impossible, illegal, or inadvisable by the weather, avalanches, strike, war, government or interference or any other causes whatsoever. The extra expense incurred as a result thereof shall be the responsibility of the passenger.

The company may, at its discretion and without liability or cost to itself, at any time cancel or terminate the passenger's booking and in particular without limiting the generality of the foregoing, it shall be entitled to do so in the event of the illness or the illegal or incompatible behavior of the passenger, who shall in such circumstances not be entitled to any refund.

Please be aware that these safaris may take you into close contact with wild animals. Attacks by wild animals are rare, but no safari into the African Wilderness can guarantee that this will not occur. Neither the company, nor its employees, nor its agents can be held responsible for any injury or incident on the safari.
