    Arrive at Entebbe Airport. Welcomed by a Zagas Explorer representative who will escort you to your hotel, followed by some briefing towards your program, check in at your lodge Boma Guest Hotel, Dinner

    Entebbe - Murchison Falls Nationa Park
    Kabalega Wilderness Lodge, Full board

    Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. In Murchison Falls, a game drive as well as a visit the top of the falls and if time allows. You will also visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This is the only place in Uganda where you can see the white Rhino. Murchison Falls is one of the most beautiful national parks of Uganda. One of the main attractions is the Nile, with the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the whole Nile is forced through a narrow gorge and falls 60 meters. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and maybe leopards. Kabalega Wilderness Lodge, Full board

    Murchison Falls National Park

    Early morning game drive ormake an optional boat trip on the Nile to the delta into Lake Albert or visit Budongo Forest for a jungle walk. In the afternoon we drive to Hoima town. Hoima Cultural Lodge, Full board

    Hoima - Kibale Forest National Park
    Primate Lodge, Full board

    After breakfast we drive to Kibale Forest. You can make a walk around the community in the afternoon (optional). Kibale Forest is a spectacular jungle, with 13 primate species! Including chimps, baboons, black and white colobus, red colobus, grey cheeked mangabey and L’Hoest monkey. Primate Lodge, Full board

    Chimpanzee tracking in the morning or in the afternoon. It is also possible to upgrade this 1-hour tracking to a Chimpanzee Habituation Experience, a 4 hours tracking For people interested in primates and birds and willing to make another walk, we can make a community walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary as well.     Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Transfer to the Queen Elizabeth National Park. On our way we pass the equator where we will make a stop. Game drive in the afternoon. Mweya Safari Lodge , Full board

    Game drive in the morning. Boat trip on the Kazinga Channel in the afternoon. The Kazinga Channel is one of the highlights of Uganda and has the highest concentration of hippos in the world. Mweya Safari Lodge , Full board

    Queen Elizabeth National Park
    Ishasa Wilderness Tented Camp , Full board

    After breakfast we drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park to the Ishasha sector in the South. Game drive in the afternoon in search of the tree climbing lions. In Ishasha there are 4 prides of lions that climb the trees daily. Unique in the world! The other attraction of Ishasha are the Topis, not found anywhere else in this National Park.   • Day 10

    Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

    Early morning game drive in Ishasha to see the tree climbing lions. Afterwards drive to Bwindi Impenetrable. breath taking views of the mountains when passing through some villages. Bwindi Impenetrable is a unique jungle, with many monkey species and one of the 2 places in the world where you can find Mountain Gorillas (The lodge in Bwindi depends on the group of gorillas you will track due to availability of the permits)

    Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

    Gorilla tracking!!! Early morning departure with your ranger to search for one of the world's most interesting and endangered animal, the Mountain Gorilla! You will spend one hour with one of our closest relatives. An experience you will never forget.

  • Day 12

    Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park - Lake Mutanda

    Drive to Lake Mutanda, one of the most beautiful places in Uganda. On a clear day you can see the 3 volcanoes in the distance. Relax at the lodge or do one of the following activities (one activity included): boat trip on the lake, walk along the lake or to the local people, go for a swim, or visit the pygmies. (Driving time to Lake Mutanda depends on the area in Bwindi we stay.)   • Day 13

    Lake Mutanda and Mgahinga National Park - Lake Bunyonyi

    Early breakfast, visit Mgahinga National Park and do one of the activities there, or stay near the lake and do one of the activities near the lake. One activity included for today. Activities in Mgahinga National Park: make a nature walk, go for a birding or primate walk, visit the golden monkeys or climb one of the volcanoes. Later drive to Lake Bunyonyi for overnight on Uganda’s beautiful lake.

    Mgahinga National Park is part of the Virunga Volcanoes and borders Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. Apart from Mountain Gorillas, the stars of Mgahinga are the golden monkeys, a subspecies of the Blue Monkey.   • Day 14

    Lake Bunyonyi - Lake Mburo National Park

    After breakfast we drive to Lake Mburo National Park. Game drive or an optional boat trip on the lake in the afternoon. In the evening we make a night game drive with high chances of seeing leopards. Lake Mburo is one of the 2 national parks with zebras and the only national park with impalas in Uganda. There are no elephants and lions, so walking safaris are possible, Mihingo Lodge , Full board

  • Day 15

    Lake Mburo National Park - Entebbe

    Game drive or game walk in the morning. On your way back, we make a stopover at the Equator to capture some memories. Transfer to the airport for your departure.

Booking Terms & Conditions

Basic guidelines to aid you as you plan to make your booking to travel to Africa on your Safari Expedition. This is not an exhaustive list, our Tour consultants are always standby to give you all the necessary guidance accordingly.

Booking Procedure

All applications for provisional or confirmed reservations are to be made by the Client by way of letter, facsimile or e-mail addressed to Zagas Explorer.
No reservation will be deemed made unless acknowledged and accepted in writing by Zagas Explorer. Provisional reservations will only be held for 14 days, after which the booking will be released. Please ensure the following information is included:

      » Date and time of arrival
      » Number of people and room requirement
      » Full names of client, and ages of children in the group (if applicable)
      » Any special requirements

Cancellation Policy

Reservations cancelled are charged as below:

      » Between 60 and 31 days prior to arrival a 25% cancellation fee will be charged.
      » Between 30 and 15 days prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee will be charged.
      » Between 14 and 0 days prior to arrival a 100% cancellation fee will be charged.
      » Cancellation fees are calculated on the rate per person and on the total value of the Reservation made.

Rates

All amounts are denominated in US Dollars and payments must be made in the nominated currency. In the case of any future increases in fuel, currency fluctuations, component costs or government taxes, Zagas Explorer reserves the right to renegotiate the rates. Conservancy fees are mandatory and will be included in the invoice.

Deposit Requirements

A refundable deposit of 30% is to be received by Zagas Explorer within 7 working days from date of confirmation. The final balance of 70% of the total value of the reservation(s) will be payable at least 30 days prior to the guests arrival.

Refunds

Should any client arrive late or request an early departure, no refund will be granted. Whilst Zagas Explorer will ensure that all anticipated accommodation will be available as planned, there shall be no claim of any nature against Zagas Explorer for a refund, either in part or whole, if any accommodation and or excursion is unavailable and a reasonable alternative was found – or if guests were unable to make use of the service for any reason.

Insurance

All guests should take out comprehensive insurance cover when paying their confirmation deposit, to cover them for cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, personal baggage, emergency evacuation back home and money.

Disclaimer

This agreement is made subject to and shall be governed and construed according to the laws of Tanzania. Neither Zagas Explorer, nor any person acting for, through or on behalf of the company shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever and without restricting the generality of the foregoing shall particularly not be responsible for loss or damage arising from any errors or omission contained in the brochure or other literature, late or non-confirmation or acceptance of bookings, loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, injury or death whether occasioned by negligence or not. In addition, the company shall have the right at any time at its discretion to cancel any tour or the remainder thereof or make any alteration in route, accommodation, price or other detail and in the event of any tour being rendered impossible, illegal, or inadvisable by the weather, avalanches, strike, war, government or interference or any other causes whatsoever. The extra expense incurred as a result thereof shall be the responsibility of the passenger.

The company may, at its discretion and without liability or cost to itself, at any time cancel or terminate the passenger's booking and in particular without limiting the generality of the foregoing, it shall be entitled to do so in the event of the illness or the illegal or incompatible behavior of the passenger, who shall in such circumstances not be entitled to any refund.

Please be aware that these safaris may take you into close contact with wild animals. Attacks by wild animals are rare, but no safari into the African Wilderness can guarantee that this will not occur. Neither the company, nor its employees, nor its agents can be held responsible for any injury or incident on the safari.
